I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY?

Imagine You are a Customer and You will Know!

5 Things You Should Consider When You Are Designing An Ad!

1. Plan the Ad Around One Idea.
Each ad should have a single message. You cannot tell everything about your business in one advertisement, whether print, radio or television. You need only enough information to peak their interest and bring them to you.

2. Identify Who You Are and Where You Are At.
People need to know how to reach you. It is amazing how often this basic information is missing or incomplete.

3. Be Consistent.
A consistent “look” or “sound” to your ads will allow the customer to quickly identify you. A well-designed logo or sound effect signature will assist in branding you in people’s minds.

4. K.I.S.S.
Keep It Simple, S . . . Well you get the message. Get the main message out in the beginning of the ad. Keep content short and to the point. Don’t put so many restrictions on your design shop or copywriter that they cannot exercise their creative talents - that is what they excel at.

5. Think Like a Customer.
Make the customer’s experience a pleasant one from start to finish, and that begins with your ad. The ad can bring them to you, but it is still up to you to make the sale. Will they feel welcome as they walk through your door, visit your website or talk to a company representative by phone? Don’t think that’s important? Think like a customer.
